 ISTANBUL, Turkey - An armed Turkish man who attempted to force his way into the Ukrainian Consulate General in Istanbul was shot by police and later died in hospital on Tuesday. An unidentified gunman is carried to an ambulance after he was shot and wounded in front of the Ukrainian consulate in Istanbul March 9, 2010. A security guard shot and wounded a gunman, believed to have been carrying a bomb, when he tried to enter the Ukrainian consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, media said.
