The Enderby old timers call him Honest John. John Penner, who celebrates his 101st birthday Aug. 4, loves his Lord, his family, his friends, community and has extended his help wherever it was needed over the years.

 Myron Kuziak can't help but feel a sense of pride when he recalls the time his father, Alex was giving a speech on the back of a flatbed truck to a large crowd on the shoreline of Crystal Lake.
He was criticizing the Liberal Party for its lack of development in the province, recalled Myron, and the people listening were soaking up his every last word.

Fame doesn't last forever. One decade you're riding high on Learjets and call girls, the next you're hawking autographs and hand jobs behind the Porta Johns at the county fair.
Of course, not all celebrities leave the limelight kicking and screaming. Some merely flip fame the bird and pursue new, absolutely random forms of employment.
