Men from around the world all have different tastes in women. Some prefer women who have had similar life experiences while others pursue single ladies who possess a different point of view and culture. It's all a matter of taste and personality as we are all unique and special. In trying to connect with women from far flung places, some men have chosen to use mail order bride agencies. The idea of using a locally based "matchmaker" in a foreign country is a good idea, however every day men continue to get exploited and victimized by unscrupulous agencies. So what are some of things you should look out before before signing up with an agency? Well, the first thing anyone initially looks for when visiting a mail order bride site is the pictures of the women. The difference between the pictures on a regular online dating site and a mail order bride site is significant in many cases. The women who are sincerely looking for love on an online dating site will share with you pictures taken by friends, family members or even themselves and they all have one thing in common, they are genuine. In comparison, the pictures on a mail order bride site are usually taken by a professional photographer who has an expensive camera, lighting and editing equipment to make the women look their best. It all comes across as feeling insincere or fake, as men often state that something "just doesn't seem right". Maybe its the fact that the women are wearing bikinis or thing high boots with miniskirts in the pictures. Regardless of what it may be, the whole thing immediately makes you feel like you're being "conned". Guess what....in 99.9% of the cases, you are and if you need any proof, simply do your homework. If you go to YouTube and type in "Mail Order Bride Fraud" or go to Google and type "profile fraud mail order brides", you will have countless articles discussing this sleazy tactic. Another thing you can do is to register a blank profile on a mail order site that charges to send and receive email. You will be overwhelmed by how many emails you get from "women" who find your profile incredibly interesting even though there is no picture or information. I recently registered a blank profile on the leading mail order bride site and within 24 hours I had over 100 messages from gorgeous women! I wonder if the $10 charge to open up each email had anything to do with it. It's also important to point out that I would pay an additional $10 to send an email, which meant that the first day I could have spent $2,000 in emails alone. Did I mention that emails would cost extra if there were pictures attached! Alot of the sleazy agencies offer you the option of sending a "gift" to the women you are talking to through the site. On the leading romance tour site, they offered men the chance to send a woman in Cebu, Philippines 11 roses for $95 dollars. Keep in mind that the Philippines is a developing country so things cost alot less there. In order to see how insanely expensive this "gift" was, I decided to look on Google for florists in Cebu to see what the costs were for roses. One of the most expensive florists offered 50 roses for $70 dollars, so recognize that the "gift" program is simply an effort to empty you wallet and bank account. The bottom line, stay away from any agency that looks suspicious. If the pictures look too good, they charge for emails, gifts, phone calls, cam sessions, English lessons, etc. simply run away as fast as you can.
